Biography

Established in the prime resort days of the Cumberland area, this campground is one of the last surviving grounds with RV hookups and permanent cabins on site. A labor of love, this camp has survived because of the continued level of superior service and family-friendly fun it has offered year and year again. Finally turning the reins over just last year, Jim King established a reputation for Camp Brigadoon that keeps folks coming back time after time. An old school Summer camp feel with modern amenities, Camp Brigadoon hosts an annual fishing contest, 4th of July festivities, customer appreciation day and has a camp store where you can treat yourself to an ice cream cone. Located right on the lake allows for campers to enjoy fishing, boating and swimming within walking distance from their site. A home away from home for many during the Summer months, now is the time to reserve your spot for next year and ensure that you have the chance to vacation like your parents used to in The Island City.
